MWH Geo-Surveys' reputation for precision field work is a direct result of the overriding commitment to survey quality by our dedicated staff of internationally experienced surveyors, engineers and gravity technicians. 

Our inventory of gravity meters includes land gravity meters exclusively from LaCoste & Romberg. In addition to standard G model meters, MWH owns 8 new Aliod 100X micro-gal meters.  These are electronic, automated meters with digital output are logged via proprietary GControl software to a GPS equipped data logger.

G Control enhances survey productivity and accuracy by:

• a GPS enabled electronic notebook for G meters eliminating note taking errors

• performs real-time error checking, multiple sampling and averaging of gravity readings

• provides a graphic display of gravity data

• enables rapid data uploading

• providing real-time, location specific tidal corrections

• allows 'hands-off' meter operation via Bluetooth wireless control

G Control is exclusive to MWH Geo-Surveys Ltd.

Our proven gravity field work is complemented by our topographic surveying experience.  MWH owns and operates the latest Magellan ProMark 500 wireless GPS receivers.  These are 75 channel, dual frequency, dual constellation GNSS receivers capable of real-time or post-processed GPS surveying.  The exceptional performance of these receivers produces excellent results in the most difficult environments, in many cases allowing survey operations under forest canopy, thereby eliminating the need for cut survey lines.
